Dye you, dress, dye you

I've been itching to dye this long white dress that's been hibernating in the closet to yellow. At first, it was a toss-up between yellow and green. Nanay suggested to go with yellow, and just as well. There was one box of yellow dye from that batch of dyes Ate Agnes sent a while back.

Dyeing the dress was no problem; I already tried to dye my faded low-rise jeans before. There was one hurdle, though - the bodice area was a tad challenged. In other words, I can't button it all the way to the top, it's a size small.

Solution: this gray knit(and itchy) vest that I originally bought from that long-gone ukay store near Grace Supermarket at Los Banos Crossing that came with an equally-gray-and-itchy long-sleeved top and long skirt. It's the perfect article of clothing to cover the chest area, lest I look like the Incredible Hulk midway through a morphing. And it's just as well - gray and yellow goes well together.

Hence the ensemble below:

Problem: as it's apparent, the vest is as shapeless as the skirt. In the world of Lucky magazine, if you already have one part of your ensemble that's loose or shapeless, the other should be form-fitting.

Solution number two: leave the top unbuttoned and wear a gray camisole instead. For the result, please see below:

Okay, so it's a bit dark. But anyways, watchatink?

leia: hindi rin, kasi fitted na sa waist in the first place. the skirt is shapeless because it's wide. :)

jane: thinking of trying to dye my white tank yellow, but i'll go for sunshiny yellow this time. nanay says the dress came out mustard yellow.

sarah: gustuhin ko mang epek yun, it's more the product of technical ignorance, haha.
