so this is how the last few days unfolded

- got the gre over and done with. it yielded decent scores. i wasn't entirely convinced until i checked out the mean score reports in the gre tutorial cd.

- i was floating in jo's class the day after the exam. met another friend of bong's, gushed over some dresses and got myself two dvds (a defective copy of you've got mail and the science of sleep). (note: one dose of eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is enough for me. from there, it'll only be gondry's music videos.)

- official pronouncement: white bread is the scourge. i promptly declared my allegiance to whole wheat bread and oatmeal.

- a panicked friend had to affirm her choice of country for the next decade. i was there to witness the near-meltdown.

- for a moment, i regretted all the inc's incurred and awol committed. then i decided two years of screwed-up school couldn't sum up my entire academic life. i went on to panic on other things.

- good and sad news via text this morning: my partial payment is close to being ready, i will be getting assistance for the activity on wednesday and another friend's would-be baby is now an angel.

you'll never really know. you just can't.
