thanks so much for your birthday greetings. lalo ko tuloy kayong na-miss. i'll have small dinner party later with candy and norbert, charly and matt, steve and liza, matt (from work) and margret ranada from college who's in town today.

i started the day bright and early. just waiting for paolo to leave the apartment so i can get started prepping for tonight's festivities.

i ordered food na lang kasi i don't want to look like a lukring later, plus i don't want to stink up the apartment with food smell, hehe. i'm treating my "white" friends to a typical filipino party fare. i ordered lumpiang shanghai, pork barbeque, morcon, pancit sotanghon and morcon (wow, pampiesta yata!) i'll have buco pandan salad for dessert. bundat nation na naman.for drinks i got us a case of good ol' bartles and james (hahahaha!) i have to go out later to get some stuff like cake and veggies for a salad and maybe a six-pack of "ibang may pinagsamahan... San Miguel Beer" i heard from out neighbor that they sell it at a local liquor store.

candy said she borrowed "magic mike" for tonight, tee-hee. videoke fest na itoh!

charly is more excited for me to open my present from her. methinks it's sandman action figure or collectible. she helped me put with the theme/decor for tonight's party. we're having yellow/orange/read colors for tonight. i'll post pictures over the net for your viewing pleasure.

a few minutes ago my i got a message from my mom. of coures may i cry-o-llah naman ako. i really miss my family. i know for dinner on my birthday in Pilipinas time they had pansit as they have always done ever since i left just to celebrate my birthday. sniff. tama na nga ang drama. time to pump up the music and get started cleaning up the house.

i asked paolo to play a song for me in his guitar. it's been so long since we last played music together. hay, showtime na itoh!
