Eto nanaman ako. Kapag hindi ko kaharap ang computer, ang dami kong naiisip na gusto kong ilagay sa blog. Pero pag andito na ako sa Abode, tila'y nawawala silang lahat.

But this I remembered: I was thrilled to learn that Wong Kar-Wai's 2046 will finally be shown on, of all days, my birthday (yes, shameless plug for those shameless people who are planning to forget). When I first learned that such a film (which is to be the sequel to In the Mood for Love) is in the works, I was so sure it'll get some award at Cannes or some other festival. And it did.

For those who got to see In the Mood...., how could one forget the story and moreso the lush, lush, lush cinematography? I found myself constantly holding my breath. To use an often-abused expression, it was a religious experience.

Unfortunately, I have a rather inconvenient class schedule on my birthday. The earliest I'd get to see it would probably be Sunday the 12th (as Kaye and I will have a party the day before). The last time I got excited over seeing a film print advert was, well, rather recent - Before Sunset, which is also a sequel (to Before Sunrise). Hey, what are the chances of two sequels shown locally which actually did not bomb?
