now that the world's scientists have officially declared something we already know (i.e., climate change is man-made), i can blame somebody for my asthma, that old lady's sudden bout with arthritis and many others duelling with colds and funny throats.

i can't believe there is another plus to staying in qc these days - the weather. coming home to lb this afternoon, i was once again reminded how brutal the dipping temperatures in this place is. my pajamas are staying where they are - which means i have to scrounge around for other pairs, the one i'm wearing will smell oity in a few days.

now for other developments on the homefront:
the seven pups are now down to three. i don't really miss them as they're the factories of poop and pee the last few days. however, i'm a little concerned with how they're keeping themselves warm with this crazy weather.

and...we, or rather, tatay, had our cable connection disconnected. when i learned about it the second i stepped into the living room, i felt like the parachutist who just realized his chute is not working. thoughts of all the programs came rattling through my head - conan o' brien, project runway, house md, e! news. yes, e! news and thank god for e! news because i had to sit through daily episodes of entertainment tonight, not as salacious as the former.

then i moseyed my head around the situation. well, season two of house is over and so is project runway. all other news breaks i can readily acceess once we have our dsl on deck. so really, the program i sit up for is conan. i'll miss conan. makabalik na nga lang ng qc, hahaha.

truth be told, i won't miss cable. but ask me again after a month, will you?
