first things first

just a wee bit more. had an episode of the residual late this afternoon. all it took was a five-second encounter but it bounced around my brain for an hour or two. progress in my book anyway because once upon a time it would've lasted the whole night. am proud to say there's major progress and more importantly, there's hope.

now on to business and that is the business of falling asleep. how i got into being wide awake round midnight was also my business, my hard-headedness. it's something i can always circle around. maraming puwedeng gawing pampatulog, so many inspiring things around me and a day with ava to look forward to. but first, this business called getting some sleep.

hopes for this week...

...that alona will do well with her paper presentation next week.
...that i get to build a competent portfolio for submission.
...that kaya's puppies continue to grow big and strong.
...that i continue to be overwhelmed with how crazy the timing of each event is.
...that kaya would stop barking at the neighbors' dogs living across the street.
...that i get some sleep.
