Can I still manage to churn out a post? I've had a long week. My birthday went fine - text greetings, choruses from my classes, a cute cake from the Samasining prod people (thank you again!) and a nice long dinner with the folks.

Wednesday and Thursday - sat at the auditions for the choir for a production. I've totally forgotten how auditions go; had to ask an ex-choir friend to remind me. I've also totally forgotten how anal I could get with people not hitting the right notes.

I'm quite surprised to find out I haven't lost my touch. Am really excited with working with the choir. Another source of adrenaline for me: I've decided to return to the college choir that I left more than a decade ago. I figure I need the practice (my voice is certainly not choir-quality as of this time). And I sorely miss singing.

Friday - rehearsed the handful of Samasining people for Monday's (and Tuesday's?) Christmas carolling. After singing for around an hour, I could feel my head slightly vibrating. I have to get used to choir-singing mode again.
