Dear Mykel,

I thought I've sworn off John Meyer, but here I am, head bobbing to a live performance of Love Song for No One. So much for swearing off things, only to rescind them later. Oh well.

A slightly liberating deed this afternoon - I skipped the department meeting along with bopis and needles. Bought food, pigged out at Jamboree and took stupid pics. Oui.

In Deliberation, Roland Barthes presents his misgivings (?) about keeping a journal. Some bits about simulation in journals (and so it's not just Baudrillard). And yes, I am continuing with my blog post here. Yes, I still have misgivings about blogs.

How are you?

A.
