These are just unusual times.

I've been carrying on with my days with a hunchback of a stress ball when there is really nothing to be truly stressed at. Really, I'm not as worried or as troubled as I was the the past few months. Heck, I'm darned happy. I've got what is truly the job for people allergic to routines and Bundy clocks. I get to interact with students who are just as crazy as their professor. (Did I fail to mention that they have their own brand of wisdom and insight?) My friends continue to inspire me and drive me nuts at the same time. I manage to see my old high school friends on a regular (which could be overkill sometimes, I have to admit) basis. My weight has increased since I started teaching and yet I've never been this comfortable with my body.

Am into my second night of reunions with C., an ex-colleague and a dear friend. Now this girl, I should have gotten to know her way back in first semester of last year.

Durga is starting with work as middle school teacher. Am crossing my fingers for her, even if she truly doesn't need it.
